To assure their dedication to these high standards, Dealers must re-qualify for the program annually.
The recognized Honda body shops participate in performance enhancement programs provided by paint companies including DuPont Performance Coatings, Sherwin-Williams, PPG, BASF and AkzoNobel, and use parts-ordering technology provided by OEConnection’s CollisionLink.
i-CAR provides training to businesses in the auto body collision repair industry and is designed to help the collision industry meet its changing needs. I-CAR trained technicians are equipped with the skills and knowledge necessary to properly repair vehicles.
ASE is an independent, non-profit organization which improves the quality of vehicle repair and service by testing and certifying repair and service professionals. Exams stress knowledge of job-related skills. After passing and providing proof of two years of relevant work experience, the test-taker becomes ASE certified. To remain certified, professionals must be retested every five years.
